:

We are looking to fill various Snow Removal Equipment Operator positions in skid steers, front-end loaders and plow trucks for the coming snow removal season.

We are also looking for hard working individuals who are willing and able to put in long hours of physical work. No specific experience necessary. Main duties would include driving from site-to-site in a plow truck or shoveling crew vehicle, shoveling snow and operating snow blowers at various properties throughout HRM.

Work would be on an as needed, on-call basis and would be weather dependent. There are also positions available to be a crew leader who would be the driver for a shoveling crew and would drive a company truck.

We are hiring for: Start date for this position will be December 2026.

Available to be on call 24/7

· Ability to remain flexible with shift schedules, extended hours (evenings, weekends, nights, and holidays)

- Prior experience as an operator preferred (snow removal experience preferred)

What are we looking for?

- A minimum of 2+ years' experience operating equipment through the winter season is preferred.




- Candidates must be available to be available throughout the winter season
- Able to work varying hours (i.e. early start times, long shifts etc.)
- Previous experience in a variety of snow removal settings (i.e. commercial, industrial and residential) is an asset.
- Working mechanical knowledge of equipment is a robust asset.
- Able to lift up to 50lbs.
- Candidate must be reliable.
- Strong communication skills.
- Must be able to work in adverse road and weather conditions.
- Reliable transportation to yard/stored equipment is required.

Pay: $18.00-$30.00 per hour
