Explicit snow and ice from sidewalks, stairs, building approaches, and assigned walkways in Toronto. You work as part of a small truck crew. Tools are provided. Reliability matters more than previous snow experience.
Responsibilities
- Shovel and chip snow and ice from walkways, stairs, ramps, and building entries on the assigned Toronto route
- Ride with the walkway truck and stay with the crew for the full route
- Use gas-powered or small-engine machines when trained and directed
- Apply ice melt as instructed and help restock the truck
- Leave sites clean and undamaged — no snow piled on neighbours, hydrants, or drains
- Follow the crew lead and site safety rules
- Report for work in Toronto when called after a snowfall
Requirements
- Able to shovel for extended periods in extreme cold, wind, and wet snow
- Live in Toronto or the GTA and able to reach the yard / first site on short notice after a storm
- Reachable by phone
- Comfortable working as part of a small outdoor crew
- Winter work boots and warm layers
- Valid government-issued ID

Expected hours: 25.0 – 40.0 per week
