About us

Drift Property Maintenance is a local Kingston company providing residential snow removal. We're growing and looking for a reliable operator to help keep our clients' homes transparent of snow this winter.

About the role

This is a seasonal, on-call position starting November 1st and ending March 31st. When overnight snowfall reaches 3cm or more, you'll head out early in the morning to clear driveways, walkways, and vehicles for our customers. The night before a snow event, you'll receive your route: a map of every home you're responsible for, in order, so you know exactly where to go and can plan your morning.

What you'll do

- Clear driveways, walkways, and vehicles at residential properties on your assigned route
- Start early (typically around 5:00 a.m.) so homeowners can get out on time
- Confirm each property is complete and flag any issues (blocked driveways, damage, missed spots)
- Communicate with our team if weather, vehicle trouble, or delays affect your route

Requirements:




- A valid Ontario driver's licence and a clean driving record
- Your own reliable vehicle – a truck is ideal, but a large SUV works too, as long as it can fit a snowblower, shovels, and snow brushes
- Availability on short notice for early-morning shifts, including weekends, during the winter season
- Ability to work outside in cold weather and the physical labour
- Reliability above all – when it snows, our customers are counting on you
- A smartphone to receive routes and send updates

Pay & bonuses:
- Base pay: $1063.67/month ($762.67/month + $10/day vehicle allowance to cover fuel & insurance)
- Snow day bonus: if a given calendar month has more than 5 call-out days, it will add to your end of season bonus for each extra call-out day.
- Base pay adjusts automatically with Ontario's minimum wage.
