Scholastika Knowledge Base Pvt. Ltd. is hiring an experienced Functional Test Engineer for a Canada-based remote technology engagement.

We are looking for a solid QA professional with hands-on experience across UI automation, performance/load testing, REST API testing and mobile application testing in enterprise environments.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop and execute automated UI and functional tests using Playwright
- Conduct performance and load testing using k6
- Test REST APIs for functionality, reliability and security
- Perform mobile application testing across iOS and Android
- Test across real devices, emulators and simulators
- Identify, troubleshoot and document defects
- Collaborate with developers, product managers and QA teams
- Support testing of complex, large-scale enterprise applications
- Maintain test cases, results and detailed defect reports

Required Skills

- 4–6 years of software testing experience
- Strong hands-on experience with Playwright
- k6 performance/load testing
- REST API testing
- Postman,



REST Assured or similar API-testing tools
- Mobile Application Testing – iOS & Android
- Test Automation
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines
- Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting and communication skills

These are the principal technical requirements specified in the JD.

Nice to Have

- AWS, Azure or GCP exposure
- JIRA, TestRail or Zephyr
- Security testing knowledge

Significant Candidates must currently be based in Canada and be available to work EST hours.

Applicants should have genuine hands-on experience with Playwright and k6. Profiles based primarily on manual testing without the required automation/performance-testing experience will not be suitable.
