MKW Logistics Group is looking for a sorter to help prepare orders for delivery from our Arnprior warehouse.

Overview

Join our dynamic warehouse team as a Sorter/Loader, where your energy and precision will drive our logistics operations forward! In this vital role, you will be responsible for efficiently sorting, loading, and unloading a variety of materials and products to ensure smooth distribution.

Responsibilities

- Sort incoming and outgoing items accurately according to size, type, and destination using order pickers and other warehouse equipment
- Assist in order picking processes to fulfill customer orders efficiently and accurately
- Maintain organization of warehouse storage areas to optimize space utilization and facilitate quick access
- Support shipping & receiving activities by verifying shipment contents against documentation
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of loading/unloading tasks while adhering to safety standards

Experience

- Prior warehouse distribution experience is highly preferred, especially in rapid-paced environments involving heavy lifting and order picking




- Mechanical knowledge or construction experience is advantageous for operating heavy equipment safely and effectively
- Hands-on experience with warehouse management systems (WMS) or inventory control software is a plus
- Demonstrated ability to operate forklifts, cranes, clamp trucks, or other heavy equipment safely and confidently
- Knowledge of shipping & receiving procedures ensures accurate handling of inbound and outbound shipments
- Physical capability for heavy lifting, load & unload tasks, and extended periods of standing or walking throughout shifts
