Part - Time Optometric Receptionist – Permanent Role, Monday to Friday Office

Oakville Optometry is looking for a permanent, part time optometric receptionist to work Wednesday and Thursday 4pm – 8pm schedule.

The practice is located at the QEW and Trafalgar Road in Oakville, Ontario. Oakville Optometry is a progressive 40-year independent, full service optometric care and dispensing practice with five doctors and a gallery showcasing over 700 frames.

Main Responsibilities :

· Wednesday and Thursday 4pm – 8pm schedule

· Answer phone, triage the request, book patients accordingly, manage appointment calendar, place orders for contact lenses, greet incoming patients

. Pretest patients

. Provide check out services, manage OHIP, 3rd party insurance and private pay

. Knowledge of glasses and contact lenses is an asset

Qualifications:

. Must be punctual and reliable

. Enjoy being part of a small team

· Strong written and verbal communication skills

· Strong phone and Microsoft Work and Excel skills

. Previous optometry office experience is an asset
