Role Description The Student Success Specialist is a full-time remote role focused on supporting students throughout their admissions preparation journey. In this position, you will provide one-on-one guidance, track student progress, and help learners stay organized and motivated as they work toward their academic goals.

You will conduct virtual check-ins, answer questions related to coursework and application preparation, and connect students with appropriate resources and tools. The role includes coordinating schedules, maintaining accurate records, and collaborating with other team members to refine processes that improve student outcomes.



You will also contribute to student-facing materials, such as tips, reminders, and short guides, to enhance the overall support experience.

Qualifications

- Demonstrated ability to provide individualized academic or advising support, including progress monitoring, goal setting, and student coaching.
- Solid communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust and rapport with students and families in a virtual environment.
- Proficiency with remote collaboration and productivity tools (e.g., video conferencing platforms, learning management systems, shared documents).
- Organizational and time-management skills to handle multiple students, schedules, and follow-ups with attention to detail.
- Understanding of or interest in North American higher education systems and admissions processes; prior admissions, tutoring, or counseling experience is beneficial.
- Ability to work independently, adapt to evolving student needs, and contribute to a supportive, inclusive team culture.
- Bachelor’s degree in education, counseling, psychology, communications, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
