About the Role
OpenCove.ca is seeking compassionate Support Workers to provide hands‑on assistance to clients in their daily activities, promoting independence and well‑being.
Responsibilities
- Assist clients with daily living tasks, such as personal care, meals, and mobility.
- Support clients in participating in recreational, educational, and social activities.
- Monitor client safety, health, and overall well‑being.
- Document care and report changes in client condition to supervisors.
- Collaborate with families, caregivers, and professionals to deliver high-quality support.
Requirements
- Certificate or diploma in Health Care, Community Support, or related field.
- Experience in direct client care or support work preferred.
- Strong empathy, patience, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Flexibility to work wide-ranging shifts including evenings and weekends.
