Role- Technical PM with M&A;

Location – Canada Remote

Duration: Long term Contract

We are seeking a strategic and execution-focused Senior IT Project Manager to lead complex technology initiatives, including mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, integrations, and enterprise transformation programs. This role partners with business leaders, Technology M&A; stakeholders, and cross-functional teams to deliver outcomes that support organizational growth and business value.

The ideal candidate is more than a task tracker. They understand how workstreams, dependencies, teams, and technologies connect to larger program objectives and can translate that understanding into effective execution. They are proactive, analytical, and comfortable driving accountability across diverse stakeholder groups. They also leverage AI-powered tools to improve planning, communication, analysis, and delivery effectiveness.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead technology projects from initiation through completion, ensuring delivery against scope, schedule, budget, and business objectives.
- Manage mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, integrations, and transformation initiatives across multiple business and technology workstreams.
- Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, RAID logs, status reporting, budgets, and governance artifacts.
- Coordinate activities across business, technology, vendor, operational, and acquisition teams.
- Identify and manage risks, issues, dependencies, and resource needs while driving timely resolution.
- Facilitate meetings, communicate progress, and provide clear updates to stakeholders and leadership.
- Translate technical information into concise, actionable communications for business audiences.
- Leverage AI-enabled tools and automation to improve project delivery, reporting, decision-making, and team productivity.

Required Qualifications





- Bachelor’s degree in business, Information Technology, Project Management, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience managing complex, cross-functional technology projects or programs.
- Robust experience with project planning, scheduling, governance, status reporting, and stakeholder management.
- Demonstrated ability to think critically, solve problems, and drive execution across multiple teams.
- Excellent communication, facilitation, and organizational skills.
- Experience using AI-powered productivity and collaboration tools such as Microsoft Copilot, ChatGPT, or similar technologies to support project delivery.

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience supporting mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, or large-scale integration programs.
- Experience with enterprise technology implementations, migrations, or transformation initiatives.
- PMP, Agile, Six Sigma, or related certification.
- Familiarity with Agile, Waterfall, and hybrid delivery methodologies.
- Experience with Jira, Jira Align, Azure DevOps, ServiceNow, Microsoft Project, or similar tools.
- Experience in healthcare or other highly regulated industries.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Copilot, Power Platform, Azure AI Services, or other enterprise AI technologies.
