We are looking for a talented Technical Trainer Instructor Senior to join our team in Acheson, AB.

In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:

- Forecast training demand across the business and develop proactive training plans that align with operational goals and workforce capability needs.

- Deliver technical training and provide ongoing support to technicians and service personnel on products, systems, tools, and company policies.

- Build and maintain subject matter expertise through train-the-trainer programs and continuous learning opportunities.

- Develop, update, and enhance training materials to ensure content remains accurate, relevant, and aligned with evolving business requirements.

- Evaluate training effectiveness through participant feedback, performance metrics, and field results to drive continuous improvement.

- Customize and adapt training programs, presentations, and learning solutions to address specific customer, regional, or operational needs.

- Maintain accurate technical training records, monitor service capability, and provide reporting to support workforce development and compliance objectives.

- Support and participate in continuous improvement initiatives that enhance training quality, increase workforce effectiveness, and strengthen service excellence.

Experience: Intermediate level of relevant work experience required, including experience in service.

Your Responsibilities May Include

- Deliver technical product (engine and associated equipment) training to Cummins Canada Dealer and Customer technicians





- Achieve and/or maintain Cummins Inc Trainer qualification status

- Work closely with other trainers to deliver quality training and foster a team environment

- Conduct weekly technical engine training courses in classroom and lab setting for Cummins Canada, OEM dealers and end use customers

- Test, score, and evaluate technicians on written and hands-on testing

- Prepare classroom materials in advance of training class

- Maintain engine training modules and associated equipment proactively and as necessary

- Achieve and maintain all necessary engine platforms and associated equipment training qualifications from Cummins Inc as training demand requires

Position Requirements

- This role requires the candidate to travel in Manitoba and British Columbia.

- Must be legally eligible to work for any employer in Canada without sponsorship

- Heavy Equipment Technician, Truck and Transport Technician (On-Highway Red Seal), Heavy Duty Equipment Technician (Off-Road Red Seal), or Automotive Technician Certification required.

- Prior experience as a trainer / instructor will be considered a solid asset

- Superior technical understanding and repair capabilities on mainstream Cummins engine models (Automotive/Industrial engines) or comparable competitive diesel engine & systems

- Superior ability with Cummins INSITE, Guidanz, and Quickserve Online (QSOL)

- Ability to communicate detailed technical concepts in a clear and concise format

- Ability and enthusiasm to coach and teach technical skills

- Ability to adapt to unexpected or changing customer requirements
