Hello! We are a family based in Hamilton, Ontario, and we are currently looking for a nurturing and reliable nanny to join us. Our family needs assistance with our infant, and we are seeking someone who can provide loving care and support.

2 Days/Week

We are looking for a warm, caring, nurturing, and dependable nanny to care for our 4½-month-old son in our home. We are hoping to find someone who genuinely enjoys working with babies and will provide attentive, responsive care while supporting his development as he grows.

Schedule: Tuesdays & Wednesdays
Days required: 2 days per week, with the possibility of increasing to 3 days in the future

Position: Ongoing part-time position

What we’re looking for

We would love to find someone who is:

- Warm, patient, empathetic, and nurturing
- Experienced and confident caring for infants
- Knowledgeable about age-appropriate infant development and milestones
- Comfortable engaging our baby in developmentally appropriate play, such as tummy time, reading, sensory activities, songs, floor play, walks, and other activities that encourage his development
- Infant CPR and First Aid certified
- Reliable, responsible, and safety-conscious
- Comfortable following our baby’s established feeding, nap, and daily routines
- A good communicator who will work collaboratively with us as parents

Responsibilities

The primary responsibility will always be caring for our son.



During his naps or other appropriate downtime, we would also appreciate help with light baby/household tasks, such as:

- Washing and preparing bottles
- Tidying toys and baby’s play areas
- Baby laundry and organizing baby items
- Light kitchen tidying/clean-up
- Other light household tidying as time allows

We are looking for someone who can become a consistent and trusted presence in our son’s life rather than someone seeking a short-term position. There may also be an prospect to add an additional day in the future.
