Family Assistant - Winston Heights

36 hrs/week @ $25 - $35/hour, pay commensurate with experience; Monday to Friday from 2pm to 8pm and Saturday from 8am to 2pm (must be available for up to 50 hrs/week on short notice; i.e. when children are sick, school breaks, etc)

Vacation pay @ 6%

Health spending account of $1,500 per annum

Possibility of bonus depending on performance

About you: first and foremost you are excellent with children. We have two girls, 5 and 2. After this, you have excellent organization and communication skills and can run a household exceptionally well.

The tasks and duties of this role are all encompassing and will include (but not limited to) the following:

- child care after school until bedtime and on Saturday morning
- meal planning/preparation
- household management and light cleaning/organization including laundry
- managing service providers (cleaners, gardening service, etc)
- booking appointments, managing family calendar, etc
- doing groceries, running errands, etc




- taking children to activities as needed and dropping off/picking up from school if needed
- being proactive and adaptable as the needs of our family change over time

You will need a valid drivers license and clean driving record. A vehicle will be provided for use if you don’t have your own.

The expectation is that this role will evolve into a household manager over time (with well above average pay) - it is not unreasonable for an exceptional candidate to be earning a six figure salary within a decade.

You will be treated like a family member and not an employee so fit is everything - expect a detailed interview and screening process as well as the possibility of a trial run before a final decision is made.
