We are a family in Glendale, SW Calgary, looking for a reliable, organized, and caring part-time nanny/family helper to assist us Tuesday through Thursday during/after school.

Our children are 9 and 11 and are quite independent. They walk to and from school on their own, so this role is less about traditional childcare and more about helping keep our household organized, and getting the kids where they need to be on Tuesday.

Responsibilities will include:
Walking our dog (½ Lab, ½ Retriever), Preparing a healthy after-school snack for the kids, Helping prepare and pack school lunches, including occasional baking for lunches (ie healthy muffins or bars)
Prepping and/or making family dinners
Light housekeeping and general tidying

Driving the kids to after-school activities as needed

We would love to find someone who is dependable, proactive, and comfortable taking initiative around the home.



Someone who enjoys cooking and has knowledge of healthy, nutritious meals would be a great fit for our family.

The position is approximately 3–4 hours per day, Tuesday through Thursday. We are pretty versatile, except Tuesdays where we need help getting one child to lessons.

Because some driving to activities is required, a valid driver’s licence, vehicle and safe driving record are important.
