In this energetic role, you will be responsible for efficiently managing tire inventory and ensuring the safe and organized storage of tires. Your mechanical knowledge and warehouse experience will drive smooth shipping, receiving, and storage processes, supporting our commitment to quality service.
Duties
- Safely load, unload, and organize tires
- Operate warehouse management systems to track inventory levels and update stock records accurately
- Pick and prepare tire orders for shipment or distribution with precision and efficiency
- Load and unload shipments, ensuring proper handling of tires to prevent damage
- Maintain a clean, organized storage area adhering to safety standards and best practices
- Conduct regular inspections of storage racks, equipment, and tires for quality control and safety compliance
- Assist with inventory counts, cycle counts,
and reporting to ensure accurate stock levels at all times
Requirements:
- Very organized, with excellent attention to detail. We cannot lose a customer's tires.
- Physically able to lift a mounted winter tire and rim (about 60–75 lbs) and stack it on a set of tires about 4 feet high, over and over throughout the shift.
- Comfortable doing physical work on your feet all day, especially during busy seasonal changeovers.
- Reliable and punctual.
- A valid driver's licence is an asset.
