Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Tower/Rooftop Team Lead (Rigger) to oversee and coordinate the installation, maintenance, and repair of telecommunication and network infrastructure on towers and rooftops. This leadership role requires technical expertise, safety awareness, and the ability to manage a team in challenging outdoor environments. The ideal candidate will possess solid electrical, telecommunication, and rigging skills, with a focus on ensuring efficient project execution and adherence to safety standards.

Duties

- Lead and supervise a team of riggers during tower and rooftop installation projects.
- Oversee the safe operation of equipment such as forklifts, bucket trucks, and bucket operation tools.
- Coordinate the setup and dismantling of telecommunications infrastructure including WAN, telephony, low voltage systems, and network cabling.
- Perform or assist with welding tasks required for structural modifications or repairs.
- Ensure proper handling of electrical components and adherence to electrical safety protocols.
- Conduct inspections of work sites to identify potential hazards and implement safety measures.
- Manage project timelines, resources, and materials to ensure timely completion of tasks.




- Maintain detailed documentation of work performed, safety checks, and equipment used.
- Collaborate with clients, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure project specifications are met.

Skills

- Proven experience with tower or rooftop rigging operations in telecommunication or network infrastructure projects.
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, low voltage wiring, telephony, WAN networks, and fiber optics.
- Skilled in operating forklifts, bucket trucks, and other heavy machinery safely.
- Ability to perform welding tasks with precision.
- Experience working with telecommunication equipment including antennas, cabling, and related hardware.
- Leadership skills with the ability to manage a team effectively under tight deadlines.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail in high-risk environments.
- Knowledge of safety standards related to working at heights and electrical systems.

Experience with Freedom, Rogers and Bell is preffered. This position offers an opportunity to lead complex projects in a dynamic environment while utilizing your technical expertise in telecommunications and rigging operations.

Pay: $30.00-$42.00 per hour
