Job summary

Not a training seat. The Toronto test covers start-up, hydraulics, plow controls, tight turns, a controlled stop, parking, and shut-down. Fail the test, no job.

Responsibilities

- Operate the Kubota M6 with plow on assigned Toronto walkways, lanes, lots, or routes
- Pre-trip: fluids, hydraulics, lights, plow pins, cutting edge, traction equipment
- Plow to site standard — no gouged pavement, buried hydrants, or blocked doors and drains
- Coordinate with the walkway truck crew where Toronto routes overlap
- Field troubleshooting and end-of-shift clean-down, fuel, defect reporting
- Respond on short notice and stay until assigned Toronto work is complete

Requirements

- Previous tractor time is mandatory (farm, landscape, municipal, or contractor)
- Must pass a practical test on the Kubota M6 in Toronto
- Valid Ontario G licence and driver’s abstract
- Able to move the tractor legally between Toronto sites
- Comfortable with hydraulics and front plow / loader-style controls in winter
- Live in Toronto or the GTA; cell with data

Do not apply if you have only mower / skid-steer / pickup-plow time, or you cannot attend an in-person test in Toronto. Pay: $28.00-$30.00 per hour
