Vancouver Island trucking company is looking for a versatile driver; who is professional, friendly, punctual, and reliable. We are looking for someone with availability for full-time hours. The ideal candidate will need to be flexible as we offer a variety of trucking services.

Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities required :

- Valid Class 1 driver’s license (or Class 3) with a clean commercial driver’s abstract
- Commercial driving experience
- Physically fit and able to climb ladders and tarp loads when necessary.
- Strong communication and customer service skills with English fluency
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work in a variety of weather, temperature, and road conditions
- Equipment operation, such as frontend loaders, is an asset

Responsibilities include :

- Operating trucks and trailers safely and professionally to transport materials over urban, short inter-urban, and rural routes.




- Providing exceptional service to build and maintain quality customer relationships.
- Maintain accurate records such as delivery verification, driving logs, mileage, and maintenance logs.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure safety and compliance with regulations. Perform basic automotive maintenance as needed to ensure vehicle reliability.
- Following Company Policies, Health and Safety, and safe work procedures.

Pay: $25.00-$27.00 per hour
