Scholars of Cole Harbour is a growing tutoring centre in Dartmouth, NS, dedicated to helping students build confidence and achieve real academic results. We're looking for a part time French Tutor who brings energy, patience, and a genuine love for teaching.

This isn't just another tutoring gig - we invest in our teachers. You'll receive full training on our proven teaching methodology, work in a supportive team environment, and make a measurable difference in the lives of children from the community.

What You'll Do

- Deliver engaging, individualised instruction to small groups (up to 3 students) in French, English (Phonics, Reading & Writing) and Math
- Adapt lessons to each student's unique learning style, strengths, and needs
- Track and report on student progress, work habits, and attitude accurately
- Prepare teaching and other materials, when applicable
- Participate in staff workshops and team meetings
- Complete administrative and other tasks, when required.





Who We're Looking For
- Strong oral and written skills.
- Genuinely motivated to help students reach their potential
- Organized, detail-oriented, and dependable
- Currently enrolled in university or a recent graduate (any field of study welcome)
- Enrollment in or completion of a Teachers College or Education program is a strong asset (BEd, MEd, or provincial teaching certification preferred)
- Experience working with students (preferred)

Hours & Details
- Part-time: 3–12 hours/week
- Monday–Thursday: 4:00–8:00 PM
- Saturday: 9:00 AM–2:00 PM
- In-person | On-site parking available
- Competitive hourly rate, commensurate with experience
