Renaissance Montessori Academy is a licensed, non-profit Montessori childcare centre dedicated to providing a calm, nurturing, and inspiring environment where every child is seen as capable, curious, and full of potential.
Position Overview:
We are urgently seeking a passionate and experienced Level 3 Early Childhood Educator with a Montessori background to join our team immediately. The ideal candidate will bring warmth, professionalism, and a love for working with children aged 12 months to 6 years.
Responsibilities:
- Create and maintain a calm, child-centered Montessori environment
- Implement Montessori principles through daily routines and activities
- Support children’s social, emotional, and cognitive development
- Communicate effectively with families and team members
- Ensure compliance with Alberta Child Care Licensing standards
Qualifications:
- Alberta Level 3 Early Childhood Educator Certificate (required)
- Montessori training or classroom experience (preferred)
- Current First Aid/CPR and Police Vulnerable Sector Check
- Positive attitude, flexibility, and teamwork
