IT Support Specialist - Masters-Level Internship

About the Role

As an IT Support Specialist, you will play a vital role in maintaining and enhancing the organization’s IT infrastructure by providing technical support and troubleshooting for hardware, software, and network-related issues. This role requires a problem-solving professional who can address IT challenges, support end-users, and ensure system efficiency and security.

Key Responsibilities

- Provide technical support for hardware, software, and network issues to ensure uninterrupted operations.

- Troubleshoot and resolve IT problems in a timely and effective manner.

- Assist in maintaining and upgrading IT systems, including servers, networks, and devices.

- Manage user accounts, permissions, and access control in compliance with security policies.

- Monitor system performance and proactively identify potential technical issues.

- Install, configure, and update software and hardware systems as required.

- Document IT processes, solutions, and user guides to support team knowledge sharing.

- Collaborate with teams to implement IT solutions that align with organizational goals.

About You

- Completed Bachelor’s degree Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field required. Master’s program enrollment or completion is preferred but not mandatory.

- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with a passion for troubleshooting IT issues.

- Familiarity with operating systems (e.g., Windows, macOS, Linux) and networking protocols.





- Experience with IT support tools and platforms (e.g., remote desktop, ticketing systems).

- Proficiency in system maintenance and security best practices.

- Excellent communication skills to effectively assist end-users and collaborate with teams.

- Highly organized and able to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.

- Certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, or similar are a plus.

- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively.

- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
