Reporting to: Warehouse Manager

Major Duties and Responsibilities:

- Support and manage flow of warehouse activities
- Plan and manage receiving schedule
- Co-ordinate required warehouse maintenance tasks
- Assume responsibility of overall warehouse operations in absence of warehouse Manager
- Provides supervision, support, and direction in such a way that promotes clear understanding, accountability and efficiency, and follows all policies and procedures.
- Leads team to properly pick, pack and ship using shipping program (UFMS)
- Works independently and addresses challenges within a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.
- Take’s initiative to help in any area of the warehouse if possible.
- Must be able to lift 20-60 lbs occasionally, stand and walk constantly.
- Requires flexible hours
- Must conduct oneself in an honest, qualified and respectful manner always.

Experience Requirements:





- Minimum 2 years’ experience working in a warehouse environment with additional experience in a supervisory role
- Possess understanding of basic business processes in distribution environment (order processing, inventory management, warehouse management)
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS), general computer applications is essential. Uses Microsoft excel spreadsheets.
- Experience with database reporting tools (Business Intelligence) an asset
- Well organized and ability to analyse and trouble shoot problems
- Strong interpersonal skills and multi tasking abilities
- Certification in forklift operation a plus
- Understanding of safety guidelines
- Good communication skills - verbal/written
- Bilingual (English, French), written/spoken
