The Mower – Pickering, Ontario

We are looking for a dependable, organized, and hands-on Warehouse Associate / Delivery Driver to join our team.

This is an active position that involves keeping our warehouse organized, operating a forklift, assembling equipment, loading and unloading trucks and trailers, helping customers with their equipment, and completing customer pickups and deliveries.

We are a busy outdoor power equipment dealership, so we're looking for someone who can stay organized, work independently, and isn't afraid to jump in wherever they're needed.

What You'll Be Doing

- Safely operate a forklift to load, unload, and move equipment
- Receive incoming shipments and verify products
- Organize equipment, parts, attachments, and inventory throughout the warehouse
- Maintain designated inventory locations and ensure products are put away properly
- Assemble and set up new equipment as needed
- Prepare and stage equipment for customer pickups, deliveries, and store transfers
- Complete pickups and deliveries of equipment for our customers
- Load and unload trucks and trailers
- Properly secure equipment and loads using straps, chains, and appropriate tie-down methods
- Ensure loads are safely positioned and secured before transportation
- Assist customers with loading and unloading lawn mowers, snowblowers, generators, and other equipment from their cars, trucks, and trailers
- Treat customer equipment with care during pickups, deliveries, loading, and unloading
- Assist with inventory counts and locating stock
- Keep aisles, loading areas, and workspaces clean and organized




- Break down packaging and handle garbage and recycling
- Help maintain a clean, protected, and efficient warehouse
- Assist other departments when needed

What We're Looking For
- Valid forklift certification
- Valid driver's licence with a clean driving record
- Experience properly securing and tying down equipment and loads for transportation
- Comfortable driving company vehicles and towing trailers
- Previous warehouse or material-handling experience
- Strong organizational skills
- Mechanically inclined and comfortable assembling equipment
- Comfortable working with lawn and garden equipment and machinery
- Ability to safely load, unload, secure, and move equipment
- Able to perform physical work and lift heavier items when required
- Good attention to detail
- Ability to work independently without constant supervision
- Good communication and customer service skills
- Reliable, punctual, and dependable
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment

You should be someone who likes an organized warehouse, puts things back where they belong,



and doesn't walk past a mess expecting someone else to deal with it.

You also need to be comfortable dealing with customers. Whether you're helping someone unload a machine for service, loading a new mower into their truck, or picking up and delivering equipment at a customer's home or business, we expect you to be professional and treat their equipment with care.

Safety is important. You need to know how to properly position and secure equipment on a truck or trailer and be confident that a load is protected before leaving.

Our warehouse gets busy, especially during peak seasons, so you need to be able to prioritize tasks, stay organized, and switch between jobs when needed.

Job Type: Full-time Location: Pickering, Ontario
