Lead vital assessments of water laboratories with the IAEA as a Consultant. This position emphasizes developing insights into national water policies and laboratory capacities. As a consultant in the NAPC-Isotope Hydrology Section, your work will focus on understanding the capacity of national water analysis laboratories in 36 least developed IAEA Member States.

You will review existing policies and gather evidence to prepare comprehensive country reports assessing laboratory performance and gaps related to water quality. Your findings will guide policymakers in enhancing water management practices. Key Responsibilities:

- Create a comprehensive implementation plan for assessments
- Review and analyze national water policies and laboratory records




- Draft concise country reports emphasizing laboratory capacities
- Investigate the necessity of water analysis regulations
- Develop a synthesis report summarizing regional findings Requirements:
- Advanced qualifications in water resources management or related fields
- Minimum five years of experience in related technical work
- Ability to review and assess national policies thoroughly
- Experience with capacity-building in developing countries is beneficial
