As a Weekend Day Coordinator, you will oversee daily operations, ensure high-quality services, and foster a warm, welcoming environment for residents and staff alike.

Your leadership will help create a safe, engaging space where seniors feel valued, respected, and supported every weekend.

Responsibilities

· Responds immediately and appropriately to all resident emergencies

· Has overall responsibility for staff, building, safety and well-being of residents while on shift

· Coordinates and oversees service delivery while on shift

· Provides accurate and appropriate referral and support services to residents and their families in conjunction with all staff

· Monitors the well-being of all residents

· Monitors the use of the Emergency Response System in the building while on shift

· Conducts regular security checks

· Assists with various word processing and office routines

· Maintains and updates resident’s files





· Receives and secures financial and other paperwork from owners on behalf of the House Manager

· Provides regular social programming in consultation with the residents

· Acquires and maintains a working knowledge of building systems and procedures

· Develops and supports a sense of community within the building

· Assists with common area cleaning

· Maintains resident and staff confidentiality

Performs all work within the standards and philosophy of Nova Pacific Care Inc.

Qualifications

· Grade 12 graduate

· Experienced in working with older adults

· Current knowledge of resources for seniors and how to access them

· Knowledge of building management

· Current CPR and First Aid & Criminal Record Check

· Working knowledge of computers and word processing (Proficiency in Word, Excel, Publisher)

Hours and Days

Saturday, Sunday and Statutory Holidays. 8:00am to 4:00pm

Pay: $28.45-$29.63 per hour

Expected hours: 16.0 per week
