At Janox Fluid Power, we’re looking for an experienced Welder/Fabricator who can turn a drawing, a piece of material or a repair challenge into quality work.

Working with hydraulic cylinders, heavy industrial components and custom fabrication, you’ll take on varied projects that call for strong fitting skills, sound judgment and pride in craftsmanship. From new fabrication to repairs and rebuilds, you’ll help produce components built for demanding applications.

What You’ll Do

- Fabricate, fit and weld hydraulic and industrial components from drawings, sketches and specifications
- Measure, lay out, cut, prepare and assemble materials before welding
- Perform repair and build-up welding on worn or damaged components
- Use cutting, grinding, gouging and beveling techniques to prepare materials and repair areas
- Determine appropriate fit-up, welding sequence and fabrication methods, considering alignment and distortion
- Verify dimensions, tolerances and fit throughout the process, and inspect completed work for quality
- Work with machinists and other tradespeople to solve fabrication and repair challenges
- Safely rig, position and move large components using overhead cranes and material-handling equipment
- Complete job documentation, care for equipment and maintain a clean, organized work area
- Follow Janox quality requirements and safe work procedures

What You Bring
- 3–5+ years of welding and fabrication experience
- Strong MIG/FCAW and stick welding capabilities
- Experience independently fitting and fabricating components
- Ability to interpret drawings,



sketches, dimensions and specifications
- Strong measuring, layout, material preparation and fit-up skills
- Experience working with different materials and thicknesses
- Mechanical aptitude and practical problem-solving skills
- Experience with overhead cranes and rigging
- Ability to organize your work and carry projects through to completion
- Attention to detail, ownership of your work and a commitment to safety

Hydraulic cylinder, heavy equipment or industrial repair experience is a strong asset. Journeyperson Welder certification and additional welding tickets are assets, but not required. We value demonstrated skill, relevant experience and the ability to consistently produce quality work. Who Will Do Well Here?

You’re comfortable tackling repair work that requires investigation and judgment. You know when to work independently and when to bring the team together to find a practical solution.
