Due to growth, we are seeking reliable, organized candidates who can work as a team in a fast-paced environment. Wood finishing experience is an asset; however we will consider applicants who don’t have professional experience. We will provide training.

A successful candidate who grows with us has the opportunity to become a crew foreman with additional benefits including a company vehicle.

We provide on-site wood refinishing services for our customers, so candidates will be working at a variety of locations throughout the Toronto area. Shifts are typically 8 hours in length. Evening / night shifts may be required at times.

Duties

- Strip, sand, stain and refinish wood furniture and millwork to specified colours.
- Apply toners, highlights, glazers or shaders to obtain desired wood finishes. Apply lacquers/sealers.
- Clean, polish and wax furniture surfaces.
- Smooth gouges with filler, putty/touch up surfaces, and make minor repairs.
- Use hand tools, power tools, and machine spray finishing.

Requirements

- Legally eligible to work in Canada.
- Current criminal record check.
- Bondable.

Education

- High School Diploma or equivalent.

Physical Capabilities

- Physically demanding.
- Attention to detail.
- Lift up to 50 lb.
- Manual dexterity, hand-eye coordination.
- Repetitive tasks.




- Able to distinguish between colours.

Work Environment

- Noisy, odours, dusty, hot, occasionally at heights.

Job Types: Full time, Permanent Salary: $20.00-$34.00 per hour
