Overview

We're growing — and with the opening of our new Acheson yard, we're looking for a motivated, hands-on professional to support day-to-day tasks in our warehouse and yard facility.

As our Yard & Logistics Assistant, you'll play a key role in shipping and receiving, inventory control, yard organization, equipment coordination, and logistics support, while helping create a safe, effective, customer-focused operation. Your proactive approach and mechanical aptitude will help keep our yard organized, safe, and productive, contributing directly to our company's success and growth.

Responsibilities

- Assist with loading and unloading goods using heavy equipment such as forklifts, skid steers, and loaders to ensure safe and efficient handling of materials
- Support order picking operations by accurately selecting items according to specifications
- Assist with shipping and receiving tasks, verifying inbound and outbound shipments for accuracy and completeness
- Operate machinery safely for yard maintenance, adhering to all safety protocols
- Maintain organization of the yard area, ensuring pathways are clear and materials are stored properly for easy access
- Collaborate with team members to load and unload trucks, ensuring timely processing of deliveries and pickups
- Conduct routine inspections of equipment, reporting maintenance needs or safety concerns promptly

Qualifications





- Equipment operation experience and mechanical knowledge related to heavy equipment, including skid steers and loaders
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- An understanding of shipping & receiving procedures and safety standards
- Prior warehouse experience involving load & unload activities is desirable

Experience:
- Skid Steer or Loader Operating: 1 year (required)
