Phoenix Fence Inc. – Forklift Operator/Material Handler/Loader

Western Canada's leading Fence Manufacturer, Distributor and Installer, Phoenix Fence is currently recruiting a Forklift Operator/Material Handler/Loader Person for our Calgary operation. This is a Full Time position Monday to Friday 7 AM to 4:30 PM at a minimum with occasional overtime hours required.

The main areas of responsibility for this position are:

· Have previous forklift experience.

· Operating Forklift in a gravelled yard.

· Loading and unloading material to and from transport trucks (both decks and vans), company vehicles and customer vehicles.

· Consolidating and staging fence packages.

· Handling materials that range from small boxes, pallets, up to 24’ long pipe and up to 50’ long gates.

· Must be physical fit and be able to lift and load manually various items.

· Provide accuracy and checking of orders.

· General Yard Cleanup and organization.

· Checking inventory.





· Ability to work well under pressure in an extremely fast paced environment.

· Commitment to ensuring clients consistently receive highest level of customer service.

· Strong multi-tasker with keen attention to detail.

· Fast learner with willingness to take initiative.

· Deal with broad range of customers.

· Interact with other internal departments.

This is a full time, permanent, position.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $23.00-$27.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 – 60.0 per week
