Overview
We are seeking an energetic and motivated Furniture Sales Associate to join our agile team in CROSSIRON MALL LOCATION. In this role, you will be the friendly face guiding customers through their furniture selections, providing expert product demos, and ensuring a seamless shopping experience. Your enthusiasm for home decor combined with excellent communication skills will help customers find the perfect pieces to enhance their homes.

Responsibilities

- Greet customers warmly and assist them in selecting furniture and decor items that meet their needs and preferences
- Conduct engaging product demonstrations to showcase features, materials, and benefits of various furniture pieces
- Provide knowledgeable advice on merchandise, including specifications, styles, and compatibility with customer requirements
- Manage point-of-sale (POS) transactions accurately, including cash handling and processing payments using retail technology systems
- Upsell complementary products and accessories to maximize sales opportunities while maintaining customer satisfaction




- Maintain organized merchandising displays that highlight featured products and promote a positive shopping environment
- Deliver exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries promptly, managing time effectively, and ensuring a positive shopping experience

Skills

- Multilingual abilities are highly valued to serve our diverse customer base effectively
- Proven experience in retail sales, especially in furniture or home decor environments
- Strong communication skills with the ability to explain product features clearly and confidently
- Technical sales experience including conducting product demos and explaining technical specifications
- Bilingual proficiency in English and other languages enhances customer engagement
- Excellent organizational skills for managing merchandise displays and stock levels
- Proficiency with POS systems, cash handling, cashiering, and basic math for transactions
- Customer service excellence with strong phone etiquette and interpersonal skills
- Ability to upsell products tactfully while maintaining a focus on customer needs
- Effective time management skills to prioritize tasks during busy periods
