Join our not-for-profit security organization as a Detention Guard on Vancouver Island. Your primary task will be to ensure the safety and security of individuals in custody over adaptable shifts.

In this role, you will collaborate with RCMP personnel to monitor detained individuals and maintain accurate activity logs. This position allows for a meaningful impact in your local community, ensuring the well-being of those in custody. Key Responsibilities:

- Observe and report on prisoner conditions
- Help facilitate prisoner searches when required
- Organize and document meals for detainees
- Maintain cleanliness and safety of cell areas
- Conduct searches of cells during transitions

Requirements:

- Valid Occupational First Aid level 1 certification
- Ability to obtain necessary clearance from RCMP
- Proficient in English communications
- Basic computer proficiency
- Ability to stay composed in challenging situations
