As a faith- and values-based organization, we hire and serve people of all backgrounds and walks of life - there is a place for everyone to belong here.Mission StatementThe Salvation Army exists to share the love of Jesus Christ, meet human needs and be a transforming influence in the communities of our world.Job DescriptionPOSITION PURPOSE SUMMARY:The Salvation Army Christmas Kettle Campaign is part of a century old tradition to contribute towards building solid communities by helping TSA to give hope to other.AccountabilitiesAttend a day of training/orientation on The Salvation Army and the Christmas Kettle CampaignProvide support in getting Kettles to zone locations prior to volunteer arrival at Campaign onsetEnsure all Kettle donations are delivered to secure location at shift completionCommunicate daily issues and supply deficiencies to City/Assistant CoordinatorOrient and remind volunteers on proper Kettle handling and duties as requiredSupervise, support and assign (as required) Kettle Volunteers throughout the CampaignParticipate in the recruitment of new volunteersVisit locations during shift changes and intermittentlyCommunicate daily with ATL partner for effective transitionEnsure timesheets and mileage reports are submitted accurately and timely (weekly basis)Remain at the Kettle for the full shift (until relieved), ensuring security of donations received.Respond to questions/queries from potential donors regarding SA ministries and programs.Perform other work-related duties as assigned.Critical Relationship ManagementGovernance Boards and Councils: n/aInternal: TSA staff members, Kettle campaign teamExternal: Community membersManagerial/Technical ResponsibilitiesReports directly to the CMO and CO.Direct reports: none.Workflow coordinator.Financial And Material ManagementCollect donations and petite cash and ensure donations are always kept secure.Working ConditionsWork environment is typically in malls/storesStanding for long periods will be required and exposure to cold weatherEducation,
