The RoleWe are currently recruiting for a Journeyman Pipefitters to join our team for an upcoming work at various locations in and around the Edmonton, AB area.What You Will Be DoingRead, interpret and work from blueprints, isometric drawings and specificationsExpertly measure, cut, thread, groove, bend, assemble and install metal, plastic and fiberglass valves, pipes, fittingsInstall valves, pumps, fittings, supports and control systemsTroubleshoot and repair piping systems as requiredEnsure work is completed in accordance with OCL standards, industry codes and applicable regulationsMentor and provide guidance to Apprentice PipefittersMaintain a safe, clean and organized work areaComply with all company, client and site-specific safety policies and proceduresWhat We Are Looking ForJourneyperson Pipefitter CertificationMust be a registered apprenticePrevious experience in an industrial construction environmentValid safety tickets: H2S Alive, WHMIS 2015,



First AidAbility to work independently with minimal supervisionAbility to work with cranes and rigging-pick out the appropriate size weight ratingsPhysically capable of performing job duties including but not limited to: bending, lifting and working in various weather conditionsEnsure a protected team environmentAdhere to all company and worksite safety and quality processes and proceduresStrong communication skillsMust be able to pass a pre-employment drug and alcohol testMust be legally eligible to work in CanadaWho We AreOCL Group Inc.
