Join our team as a Support Worker and make a meaningful difference in the lives of children and young adults aged 2-17.Please note that this position would be for overnight shifts at our North Side Edmonton Centre.You would be responsible for bringing the child to school in Sturgeon County during the school year. So a driver's license and a reliable vehicle are required.Must have experience working with teens experiencing mental health concerns, including high-risk situations, trauma-informed care, and support strategies.Must be able to engage with this child and stay off electronics for the duration of the shift.



This position requires someone attentive and fully focused on the child.Responsibilities:Provide respite care and support with daily activitiesAdminister medications as instructedPrepare meals meeting dietary needsAssist with mobility, transfers, and G-tubesOffer companionship and plan engaging activitiesPerform light housekeepingQualifications:Experience in caregivingKnowledge of medication proceduresPhysical ability to lift and assistStrong communication and caring attitudeConfidentiality commitmentRequirements:Valid First AidRecent Police Vulnerable Sector CheckCFS Intervention CheckValid driver's license and reliable transportation
