Relocation assistance is available.We are seeking a motivated Mine Technician to provide technical support to the Mine Technical Services team, assisting with survey, mine planning, ventilation, and engineering activities. The successful candidate will work closely with Mine Engineers, Surveyors, Geologists, and Operations personnel to collect, analyze, and maintain accurate operational data that supports safe and efficient underground mining activities.This is an excellent prospect for an early to intermediate-career mining professional looking to gain hands‐on experience in an active underground mining environment while developing technical skills across multiple areas of mine operations.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide technical support to the Mine Engineering and Technical Services teamsAssist with underground mine surveys, data collection, and field measurements to support mining activitiesSupport mine planning activities through data entry, reporting, and updating planning documentationAssist with maintaining mine designs, development plans,



and operational drawingsCollect and organize underground operational data to support engineering analysis and decision-makingAssist with ventilation monitoring, inspections, and data collection as requiredSupport preparation of daily, weekly, and monthly technical reportsWork collaboratively with Mine Operations, Engineering, Geology, Survey, Ventilation, and Maintenance teamsAssist with tracking development progress and comparing actual field conditions against mine plansPerform underground inspections and field visits to verify operational informationMaintain accurate records, databases, and technical documentationFollow all company safety policies, procedures, and regulatory requirementsIdentify opportunities to improve data quality, operational efficiency, and safety performanceRequirementsDiploma or degree in Mining Engineering Technology, Survey Technology, Geological Technology, or a related technical discipline1-5 years of experience supporting underground mining operations preferredExperience working in an underground mining environment is considered an assetUnderstanding of underground mining processes, development activities, and technical services functionsExperience supporting mine surveying, mine planning, ventilation, or engineering activities is considered an assetFamiliarity with mining software such as Deswik, Vulcan, AutoCAD, MicroSurvey, MineSight, or similar is preferredStrong computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly ExcelStrong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate technical recordsGood communication and teamwork skills with the ability to work with multidisciplinary teamsAbility to work independently in an active mining environmentValid Class 5 driver's licenseBenefitsFull health and Dental Benefits.Recloation AssistanceCompany Pension Matching.
