Sanjel is proud to offer our employees programs supporting individual development and career advancement.The OpportunityThe Class 1 Driver – Cementing, will report directly to the Manager - District Service Line and are accountable for driving trucks and operating specialized hydraulic pumping systems to place cement in wells or to treat wells with chemicals, sand mixtures or gases to stimulate production. This is a Safety Sensitive position.This role has potential to offer a long-term career path, with access to ongoing training and career advancement. Ideally, the Class 1 Driver will develop into a Cementing Operator within the company.Career PathClass 1 Driver – Build on your Class 1 experience and develop Oilfield driving skillsOperator – Advance into operating specialized pressure pumping equipment, and apply your learned expertiseSupervisor – Lead crews and be responsible for both service and operational excellenceBeyond – Continue your growth into senior / leadership roles for those who want to keep advancingGeneral ResponsibilitiesA strong focus on Safety is essential as well as adherence to our guiding principles of teamwork, integrity, service and excellenceComplete and submit all required paperwork (i.E. expense account, bonus and fuel sheets, logbooks, pre/post-trip inspections,



loading tickets)Complete a proper pre-trip inspection prior to leaving on any journeyDrive well servicing equipment to and from well sitesAssist with rigging-in and other functions at the job site as requiredRead gauges to monitor pressure, density, rate and/or concentration and adjust pumping procedure as requiredEnsure units are clean and functioningOperate pumping systems to pump chemicals, gases, sand, cement and/or other materialsAssemble pumping equipment & attach pumps and hoses to wellheads, mix chemicals and cementQualificationsValid Unrestricted Class 1 Driver's license and clean Driver's Abstract are requiredLocal candidates are preferred. Individuals with housing available, or those open to relocation would be strongly consideredOperational training and experience in oilfield cementing or pressure pumping services considered a significant assetIndividuals who possess oilfield off-road driving experience and skills are prioritized, direct WCSB experience an advantageCapable of working in extreme working conditions (outdoors, weather, terrain)Physically fit and able to complete demanding tasks for extended periods of timeTeam focused and a SAFETY conscious attitudeCertificates in First Aid, H2S Alive, Oilfield Driver Awareness (ODA),
