A typical day will include the following:Traveling ON TIME to the office with a reliable vehicleTraveling ON TIME to scheduled projects using a company vehicleTaking accurate measurements and cutting wood for structural repairsReplacing or repairing wood girders, floor joists, sill plates and outer rim joistsDigging footings,



pouring concrete, building CMU piers and building supplemental drop girdersUtilizing jack systems to lift and flatten sagging floorsWorking with pressure treated lumber, engineered wood products and fastenersOperating power tools, saws, cutting tools, drills and jacksAccurately following the scope of work and being able to read structural drawingsFollowing OSHA regulations, building codes and company safety protocolRequirementsAbility to pass pre-employment screening including a background checkClean driving record and valid driver's license =Able to start work at 7am and work to 5pm, Monday to Friday and occasionally SaturdayEducation and ExperiencePrevious experience in carpentry, framing and foundation repair preferred, particularly in the fields of Construction and Home ImprovementProficiency with hand tools, power tools, and lifting equipmentKnowledge of building codesNature of Work / ConditionsWork is typically performed on all types of foundations and can include working in tight spaces and under housesWork requires constant movement, is strenuous, physical and can include standing, bending, crawling, lifting up to 50 lbs., loading and unloading materials, pushing and pulling equipment for prolonged periodsCompensationThis is a full-time opportunity with competitive compensation.
