Quest is our in-house manufacturing division, producing custom stainless-steel fabrications and gas appliances, all 100% handmade in Winnipeg. You'll work across warehouse and manufacturing areas in a fast-paced environment, leading a small but essential team and ensuring that every product that leaves the facility meets the standard our customers expect.What You BringEducation and ExperienceHigh school diploma or equivalent2+ years of experience in a shipping and receiving lead or supervisory role5+ years of experience in shipping and receiving in a manufacturing, warehouse, or similar environmentDemonstrated experience in crating, with the ability to confidently lead and train others in this functionProven ability to negotiate carrier and courier rates on both an ongoing contract and spot rate basisExperience working across both paper-based and computerized shipping and inventory systems, with the flexibility to learn new systems and recommend improvementsSkills and AbilitiesDemonstrated ability to operate material handling equipment including forkliftWorking knowledge of safe packing methodsComputer literacy including working knowledge of Excel and emailStrong attention to detail across all aspects of shipping, receiving, crating, and documentationClear and effective communicator, comfortable working with management, direct reports, and external carriersLeads with steadiness and consistency, creating a stable and productive environment for their teamHighly organized with strong time management and the ability to manage shifting priorities effectivelyStrong work ethic and a positive, team-oriented attitudeAble to regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, and frequently lift and/or move items weighing 50–60 poundsOur Commitment to InclusionRussell Hendrix welcomes and encourages applications from people with disabilities.
