Job Category: Maintenance & Skilled TradesRequisition Number: MILLW017868Posted : August 26, 2026Full-TimeLocationsShowing 1 locationPacific Inland ResourcesSmithers, BC V0J2N0, CANTravel Required : NoDescriptionFULL TIME - CERTIFIED MILLWRIGHTYou'll Do:Reporting directly to the Department supervisor, the successful candidate will be a part of our Maintenance Department.Maintenance of pumps, conveyors, compressors, mechanical systems, rollers & chains, bearings and hydraulics involved in the manufacturing processUndertake preventative maintenance program for equipmentRead blueprints, diagrams, and schematic drawings to repair equipmentOperate hoisting and lifting devices to position machinery and parts during the assembly, installation, set-up and repair of equipment and machineryWork in manlifts with the use of fall protection equipmentRepair and assemble hydraulic equipment and cylindersVerify and document repairs madeYou Have:A valid Inter-Provincial or Provincial Journeyperson Millwright certification, or a Millwrighting Apprentice preparing to enroll in their 4th yearMechanical aptitude; excellent problem-solving skillsAbility to work closely with other trades and employeesCommitment to working safely and creating a safe work placeStrong communication and interpersonal skillsFlexible schedule in order to work days, nights and/or weekend shiftsCompensation Package:The hourly pay rate for this position may vary depending on experience, education, and location.Your Workplace Location:Smithers is a welcoming, small Northern BC town with stunning vistas in all directions.
