Job DescriptionThe Sr Production Planner is responsible for leading day‐to‐day production activities to ensure safe, efficient, and high‐quality operations. This role coordinates team members, monitors production targets, resolves operational issues, and drives continuous improvement initiatives.You will be reporting to Sr Material Management Manager and you'll work onsite at Cambridge, ON.The Production Lead acts as the link between frontline employees, Engineering, Procurement, Planning, Logistics, Quality, and Leadership while ensuring production goals, quality standards, and operational metrics are achieved.ResponsibilitiesProduction & Operational ExecutionLead daily production activities to meet safety, quality, delivery, and productivity targets.Coordinate workflow and assign resources based on priorities and production schedules.Monitor production output and identify opportunities to improve efficiency.Escalate and resolve production delays, equipment concerns, and operational risks as required.Ensure shift goals and key performance indicators (KPIs) are achieved.Team LeadershipProvide day‐to‐day direction, coaching, and support to production employees.Collaborate with the front line and engineering to develop robust improvements.Performance ManagementMonitor employee performance and provide regular feedback.Participate in performance reviews and development planning.Recognize employee achievements and promote team unity.Safety & CompliancePromote and enforce health and safety standards.Conduct workplace inspections and participate in incident investigations.Ensure compliance with SOPs, policies, quality systems,



and regulatory requirements.Support a strong safety culture and proactive hazard identification.Quality & Continuous ImprovementEnsure products meet quality standards and specifications.Investigate defects and implement corrective actions.Participate in Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen, or continuous improvement initiatives.Analyze production data and recommend process improvements.Communication & CollaborationAct as liaison between production teams and management.Collaborate with maintenance, quality, planning, warehouse, and support functions.Maintain accurate production records and reporting.QualificationsThe Honeywell building is a controlled goods program setting.
