forms and reports; monitors patients;performs general imaging procedures, as qualified, including archiving acquired images; carries out routine Laboratory and ECG testing, as qualified; utilizes computerized patient data systems; and prepares and monitors supplies and equipment.QUALIFICATIONS:Education, Training And ExperienceGraduation from a recognized combined Laboratory/ Medical Radiography Technician Program; One (1) year recent related experience; or An equivalent combination of education, training and experience.Skills And AbilitiesDetermine and deal with emergent situations.Organize, prioritize and coordinate workload.Establish and maintain effective working relationships with clients, staff and other health care providers.Communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.Foster valuable public relations.Work independently and as a member of a multidisciplinary health care team.Operate related equipment, including computerized systems.Keyboard at 30 wpm.Physically and emotionally perform the duties of the position.This is a cross-site position based at Port Hardy Hospital (PHH) and Port McNeill Hospital (PMH), with an expectation of on-call coverage, evenings, and weekends. The primary focus of this role will be on Port Hardy Laboratory operations.
