This position can be full-time or part-time depending on the right candidate.The ideal candidate has experience designing kitchens using 2020 Design/Cyncly software and is comfortable working directly with customers throughout the design and sales process.What You'll DoYou'll work closely with customers to understand what they're looking for and help them create a kitchen that works for their space, needs and budget.Your responsibilities will include:Meeting with customers in our showroom to discuss their kitchen plans, ideas and requirementsCreating detailed kitchen designs and layouts using 2020 Design/Cyncly softwareVisiting customers' homes to take accurate measurementsProviding practical design advice and helping customers make the best use of their spaceRecommending cabinetry, finishes,



layouts and other options based on the customer's needs and budgetPreparing and reviewing designs and quotes with customersFollowing up with customers and helping move projects from the initial consultation through to the final orderProviding a high level of customer service throughout the entire processHelping customers with other products we offer in-store when appropriate, including flooring and related renovation productsWorking closely with the rest of our team to ensure projects are handled accurately and professionallyWhat We're Looking ForPrevious experience with 2020 Design/Cyncly kitchen design software is requiredPrevious kitchen design experienceStrong attention to detail and ability to take accurate measurementsComfortable meeting with customers both in the showroom and in their homesGood communication and customer service skillsAble to listen to what a customer wants while also providing professional recommendationsComfortable with the sales side of the role and identifying opportunities to offer additional products when they make sense for the customerOrganized and able to manage multiple customer projects at different stagesWorks well as part of a teamTakes pride in their work and wants to deliver a great finished result for every customerPrevious retail or sales experience is an asset.About Floors & ExtrasFloors & Extras specializes in flooring and custom kitchens, serving homeowners, contractors and builders.
