The Vancouver Waldorf School (VWS) is seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Grade School Class Teacher (1.0 FTE) to join our Grade School faculty. This full-time position involves leading a class of up to 30 students through their foundational year of elementary school, fostering a love of learning through the rich and developmentally attuned Waldorf curriculum.The successful candidate will bring a deep commitment to Waldorf education, strong classroom leadership, and the ability to work collaboratively across departments. A passion for teaching, a warm and grounded presence, and clear communication with students, colleagues, and families are essential.Key ResponsibilitiesPlan and deliver daily Main Lesson and track classes (subject-specific blocks) aligned with both the Waldorf curriculum and BC Ministry of Education learning outcomesPrepare and maintain a well-ordered, nurturing classroom environmentAssess and document student progressProvide oral and written progress reports, participate in parent-teacher conferences,
