We are committed to constantly pushing the boundaries of traffic control innovation—and we're looking for team members who are passionate about scaling that impact.Position SummaryThe position of Regional Field Trainer (RFT) will lead employee development initiatives through facilitating training events and field educational programs. RFT will help ensure a high level of consistency among all new Traffic Controllers through American Traffic Safety Services Association (ATSSA) training and hands on experience as well as Field Supervisors mentorship. The goal of this role is to promote efficiency and competitive advantage by developing the skills and knowledge of employees across a specific region.Responsibilities:Conduct, implement and certify new employees in ATSSA, Right Traffic policies and safety standards via in-person and virtual training programs and workshopsCoordinate training plans and complete administrative tasks relating to training records,



budget and attendance reportingPerform evaluations to identify areas of improvement by monitoring employee performance of Traffic Controllers andField SupervisorsObserve work zones with Field Supervisors to coach and develop Field Supervisors to increase job knowledge and consistencyDesign applicable training materials to promote employee development and foster a learning environmentProvide support to local and surrounding offices when required by Operations; work may fall outside of normal business hoursOther job duties as assignedSkills:Demonstrated skills in written and verbal communication, presentation and public speakingEfficient time management skills, ability to manage multiple tasks and issuesProficient in Microsoft Office, Canva, Zoom and other assorted softwareAbility to complete training cycle (assess, plan, develop, coordinate, monitor and evaluate)Knowledge of industry and regulatory standards, practices, and criteria pertinent to Manual on Uniform Traffic Control DevicesOrganizational skills and a positive attitude are significant qualities that you must possessCritical thinking and decision makingRequirements:High School Diploma, or 2-4 years of related industry experienceValid driver's license, dependable vehicle and must maintain a clean driving record.Travel within a 100-mile radius between office(s)Proven ability and experience in training, mentoring and motivating team members to increase performanceCurrent employees must have a minimum of 1-year of employment with Right TrafficWillingness to take on-the-job training and certifications to meet job requirementsATSSA (All Traffic Control Certifications), Defensive Driver Training, CPR/First Aid Trainer
