We are currently looking for an experienced Estimator to join our growing team.This position will be primarily focused on estimating, including quantity takeoffs, pricing, bid preparation,subcontractor and supplier coordination, and pre-construction planning. Depending on business needs andthe successful candidate’s experience, this role will also provide support with project management andproject coordination activities, particularly during periods of high project demand. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, technically minded, and understands the realities of heavycivil construction, excavation, site servicing, landscape construction, and commercial projects. Key Responsibilities: Estimating & Pre-Construction Review and interpret civil drawings, specifications, grading plans, landscape designs, tender documents, and contract requirements Perform accurate quantity takeoffs for civil, excavation, site servicing, concrete, hardscape, softscape, and landscape construction scopes Prepare detailed cost estimates, budgets,



and bid submissions Obtain and evaluate pricing from suppliers, subcontractors, and vendors Prepare RFQs and coordinate subcontractor and supplier quotations Analyze project plans and specifications to identify scope gaps, risks, exclusions, and opportunities Develop competitive and accurate unit-rate pricing Assist with bid strategy and pre-construction planning Maintain organized estimating files, bid documentation, and pricing information Participate in tender reviews and provide recommendations to senior management Assist with value engineering and identifying cost-saving opportunities Track market pricing, material costs, labour requirements, and subcontractor pricing Ensure estimates are accurate, complete, and submitted within tender deadlines Project Management Support Depending on business needs, assist Project Managers and the Construction Manager with the coordination and delivery of active projects Assist with progress quantities, invoicing, and
