JJob Opening — Accounting and Payroll Software Trainer

V2V Technologies develops management software used by more than 48,000 people in 41 countries. With GEM-BOOKS and the GEM suite, we help businesses manage their accounting, payroll, and daily operations.

We’re looking for someone who enjoys accounting, understands the challenges businesses face, and likes sharing their knowledge. You will guide clients through the implementation of GEM-BOOKS and train them to use the software with confidence.

Responsibilities

- Review clients’ accounting and payroll processes and develop implementation and training plans.
- Help configure company files, charts of accounts, tax settings, and payroll settings.
- Train users on invoicing, accounts receivable and payable, bank reconciliation, financial reports, and payroll processing.
- Support data imports and verify opening balances.
- Guide clients through their first transactions in the software and follow up after launch.
- Create and improve training guides and materials.
- Share client needs with the support and development teams.

Qualifications

- Hands-on experience in accounting, bookkeeping, or payroll processing.
- Experience in training, software implementation, or client support.




- The ability to explain accounting concepts clearly to people with different levels of experience.
- Attention to detail, patience, independence, and a strong commitment to customer service.
- Fluency in French; English is a robust asset.

Experience with cloud accounting software, Canadian payroll, or CCQ payroll is an asset.

- You have relevant customer service experience in a call centre.
- You have studied/worked in the automobile industry: e.g. technical advisor.

You have studied/worked in accounting.
You have a D.E.C. or equivalent, you are a quick learner and can quickly transmit information.
You are proficient in the Windows environment.
