Select how often (in days) to receive an alert:Reporting to the HSE Manager, the Health & Safety Coordinator works to support the overall HSE management system in an effort to minimize safety risks and promote a proactive and positive safety culture.Primary/Essential Responsibilities and DutiesProvide administrative support relating to safety documented information and records managementCoordinates the collection of HSE data, assists in preparation of safety documentsConducts safety audits and inspectionsCoordinators purchasing of safety supplies and PPEParticipates in the development and implementation of HSE programsPrepares various forms of HSE communications to support the HSE Management SystemMetrics reporting and collection of dataParticipates and conducts the Orientation training process and other safety specific trainingResponding/fielding HSE related inquiries from PNR employee's and external client'sPrepares meeting minutes, participates and assists in safety calls, meetings and conferencesParticipates in and supports JHSC functions, provides guidanceEnsures required safety bulletins and documents are posted and shared with the workforceWorks in collaboration with Quality Assurance and Document Control Teams to update existing procedures, plans and other related safety documentsAdministrative duties to support the HSE teamPerforms other duties as assigned.Required Skills and QualificationsCompletion of post-secondary education in Health & Safety or relevant field, or equivalent relevant experience (min. of two years' experience in a safety administrative capacity)Experience working in Railway/Construction Industry considered an assetFamiliarity with the Occupational Health & Safety Act and associated regulations and standards, and applicable legislationProficient in MS officeWell-developed communication (oral, written and presentation)
