with operations currently serving Western Canada.Responsibilities:Follow all safety protocols and contribute to the success of the safety programCut pipes to required lengthsAlign and position pipes to prepare them for fusingConnect pipe pieces and seal joints using provided materialInstall sanitary and storm water sewer structures and pipe systemsLay out pipe routes, following specifications or blueprints, and coordinating layouts with supervisorCheck slopes for conformance to requirements, using levels or lasersRequirements:Mathematical ability to calculate grades slopes, etc.Ability to read and interpret plans and specification.3+ years' experience pipe laying in civil constructionProfessional demeanour when dealing with the publicAble to work outside in all-weather at all times of the yearAble to do extensive physical labourValid provincial driver's licenseAssets:Recent working experience in similar roleFirst aid trainingThis position is compensated at an hourly rate plus LOA for our of town employees.
