You're looking for more than a role, you want to be part of a growing, forward-thinking company solving real-world challenges to improve how farming works, today and for the future.Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer, the Corporate Development Associate is a diverse role, providing analytical support in the areas of corporate development, capital markets, and financial planning and analysis. This Associate quickly utilizes generalized business experience in a fast paced tech-forward corporate environment. The focus of the role will be on business decision and transaction support.What you will do:Provide financial evaluations of investment and partnership opportunities, including review of project materials, corporate documents, and financing agreementsConduct ad hoc and strategic analyses to support key initiatives - including market, competitive, operational, and profitability assessmentsBuild detailed financial models, projections, and sensitivity analyses to evaluate transactions and internal strategic initiativesDevelop cash flow, three-statement models and valuation outputs (DCF, precedent, comparable) to assess acquisition targets, expected returns,



and other key metricsDeliver actionable insights on growth drivers, risk factors, and value opportunities to inform strategy, pricing, and investment decisionsSupport due diligence and negotiations - including coordination of workflows, documentation reviews, and forecast impact assessmentsCreate investment and capital markets memos that synthesize market and economic context, industry outlooks, and deal-specific strategyContribute to Semios' long-term capital structure planning - including facility structuring, financing strategy, and scenario modelingDevelop and apply economic/statistical models to analyze trends and inform product-level decisions or corporate strategySupport strategy development for product lines and business units to drive growth, operational efficiency, and long-term value creationMonitor the performance of key product lines and portfolio companies, including tracking financial KPIs and updating projectionsProvide analytical support to investor relations and financial planning functions, including board and fundraising deliverablesAct as a key point of contact between Corporate Development and internal business stakeholders, senior management, and external partnersParticipate in cross-functional initiatives, offering financial, market, and strategic orientation to product-level solutionsPerform additional duties and special projects as requiredWe want you to succeed, so you will need:Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field1-3 years of experience working in investment banking, corporate development, private equity, or equivalent finance roles with strong knowledge of supporting company investment transactionsDeep understanding of financial statements and ability to build detailed three-statement models and cash flow forecastsAdvanced Excel/Sheets proficiency with experience building complex models and working with large, unstructured datasets.
