No criminal record and a long term history of living and working in Canada. The successful candidate will be required to complete a security screening process, including background verification, a criminal record check, and fingerprinting. The screening process requires applicants to have a verifiable work and residency history in Canada covering the past 8-10 years with no criminal record.DutiesSupervise daily office activitiesOversee human resources tasks such as maintaining employee recordsHandle bookkeeping and payroll processes using QuickBooks or similar accounting software to ensure accuracy and timelinessCoordinate vendor management activities, including invoice processing, service scheduling, and relationship buildingMaintain organized filing systems, both physical and digital, for easy retrieval of documents and recordsOrganize,



delegate and oversee the work of others in a professional office environmentInterest in and potential to progress into an Office Manager positionTraining / ExperienceMinimum 3-5 years of experience in an administrative / office management roleProficiency in QuickBooks is required, including experience with day-to-day accounting and financial administration.Formal, verifiable training in Microsoft Office software is required, including Microsoft Word, Excel. Experience with google, docusign and adobe and asset.Candidates must have completed recognized computer/software training with demonstrated competency and typing skills; self-taught software experience alone will not meet this requirementConstruction industry experience is a strong assetExcellent organizational and time-management skillsStrong attention to detail and accuracyAbility to manage multiple priorities, deadlines and competing demandsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsProfessional and confident when communicating with management, employees, subcontractors, suppliers, clients and government representativesAbility to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information appropriatelyStrong problem-solving, decision-making and follow-through skillsAbility to work independently while also providing leadership and support to the office teamMust be eligible to obtain and maintain the security clearance required for government contracts.
