You will be part of a respectful, collaborative, and multicultural workplace where your role contributes to the quality of daily services.Your RoleReporting to the Community Coordinator, the Housing Manager ensures the effective delivery of housing-related client services within the community. You will support tenants and applicants, coordinate housing activities, follow up on tenant accounts and files, and support the Housing Committee.You will also provide day-to-day support to the Client Services team and serve as a key resource for tenants, applicants, and community partners.ResponsibilitiesProvide information and assistance to tenants and applicants regarding housing services, applications, accounts, and proceduresCollect rent, issue receipts, follow up on arrears, and make payment arrangements when requiredMaintain tenant files and housing records, and assist with required forms and documentationOrganize and support Housing Committee meetingsFollow up on vacant units, housing conditions, and renovation activities,



and keep tenants informed when work affects their unitsProvide day-to-day guidance and operational support to the Client Services teamCollaborate with other NHB departments and keep the Community Coordinator informed of activities, issues, and prioritiesRequired ProfileSecondary V diploma or equivalent relevant experienceTraining Experience in administration, client services, housing services, or a related fieldExperience in coordination is an assetWorking knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)SkillsStrong organizational and planning skillsAbility to manage prioritiesStrong communication and interpersonal skillsStrong client service orientationAbility to work independently and as part of a teamAbility to provide guidance and support to team membersAbility to speak and write fluently in two of three languages (English, French and Inuktitut).Salary and BenefitsThis position offers a competitive hourly base salary ranging from $34.83 to $45.15, depending on experience. Employees are eligible for an annual travel allowance of $13,719.30, an annual cost-of-living differential (CLD) of $14,365.54, and a food cargo allowance of $4,105.54 per year, in accordance with current policies and eligibility criteria.The position also includes 25 vacation days, 16 statutory holidays, and 12 sick days per year, with the option to accumulate a bank of 70 hours (10 days).
